We don’t think much about colour even though it is naturally loaded with meaning. What critical understanding we do have of colour is often abstract and difficult to understand let alone apply. This is why today I would like to lead you through a journey of colour through narrative – not unlike mythology and folklore in the hopes of inciting a more reflective, meaningful and possibly profound understanding than pure rational comprehension. Hopefully by the end you’ll be able to approach colour differently and that we’ll learn something about colour as well as about ourselves from the angle which we choose to approach this project.
