Tectonic Grounds is a summer intensive run by UDMK (Jannette Le & Mond Qu) and Denis Vlieghe in the University of Melbourne, Melbourne School of Design.

Tectonic Grounds is an exploration of digital design and fabrication techniques, data collection and 1:1 prototyping to deliver an interactive installation. This folly uses skills learnt over a two week intensive to explore the design and construction process using todays technology


Oddish is a blooming interactive installation that is light responsive. To get a reaction from Oddish wave your phone light across the face of a flower and see it blossom. Be gentle and don’t poke it, this is a sensitive species.
